Personal product
Live at opiniozone.com
OpinioZone is my product review and comparison platform built with ASP.NET Core. This case study
focuses on the product and content workflows, application architecture, and technical SEO
implementation behind the website.
The Problem
-
Buyers need one place to compare products and read opinions before they decide.
-
Product information is often scattered across many websites and is hard to evaluate.
-
The platform needed a structured backend to manage products, categories, reviews, and comparisons.
My Role
OpinioZone is my own product. I built the ASP.NET Core application, its data model, the content
management side, and the public website, and I handle its deployment.
Implemented Scope
-
Product listings across categories such as smartphones, laptops, gadgets, cars, and food
-
User reviews and ratings attached to individual products
-
Product comparison features
-
Search and browsing by category, popular items, and new arrivals
-
Admin-side content and product management
A Typical Content Workflow
- A product is added or updated in the admin area with its category and specifications.
- The product appears in category listings and can be compared with alternatives.
- Visitors read and submit reviews, which are shown on the product page.
Engineering & Technical SEO
-
ASP.NET Core backend with structured product, category, and review modules
-
Product and review content rendered on the server, so it is present in the page HTML
-
Responsive interface for desktop and mobile visitors
Technology Used
C# and ASP.NET Core, with a responsive HTML, CSS, and JavaScript frontend.
